What Is A Key Code

A key code is a code generated by your auto's manufacturer and is composed of letters, numbers or both. The key code is unique to your car and is attached to the VIN number.

We then feed the key code into the key cutting machine and cut the key that is specific to your vehicle locks: door locks, ignition switch lock, glove compartment, etc.

How can I get the key code to my car?

1) Contact your Vehicle's maker dealership and based on the VIN you provide they will be able to give you the key code for your car free of charge!

2) In many Japanese vehicles (Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Acura, Lexus, Infinity, Mazda, Subaru, Scion, Mitsubishi) the key code is stamped or engraved on the door lock. You will need to remove the cap from the side of the driver OR passenger's door and with T2 bit, loosen the star screw that is holding the door lock in place.
